Days in the Life...

A lot of people are not happy about my engagement and I just need to rant about it for a moment.

I’m 19 years old and I’m engaged.  Get over it.  We’re not getting married until September 2013. I will have my degree by the end of this summer.  I know what kind of commitment this is and I’m not going in blindly.  I’m not making a stupid decision.  It’s my choice, not yours. 

It hurts to come to a realization that I have no friends. No one to see movies with me, text when I need them at 3 am, or make awesome memories.

I’m alone.

I only knew about you for a few days and I was already in love. I couldn’t wait til September 15 when I could finally meet you and hold you in my arms. I was looking forward to seeing what you look like, who you would favor more, and what you would become years down the road. But it all came crumbling down when our mom and dad told me your heartbeat wasn’t found. I already miss you, but I guess it wasn’t your time to come into the world.
